Still recovering from carpal tunnel in my right wrist that I blew out last summer and surgery (yikes!) is scheduled for end of April – so not too many shows until that is a done deal!

However, I have been invited to participate in the 6th Annual BC Aboriginal Women in Leadership Forum, which will be held on March 30th at the Roadhouse Community Arts & Recreation Centre in beautiful Vancouver on Coast Salish Territory. “The goal of the Aboriginal Forum is to unite people from all backgrounds to celebrate the achievements of accomplished Aboriginal women leaders of all ages and to create a ripple effect of success for the next generation of Aboriginal youth. “So if you live in Vancouver and can attend, this will be an important event in terms of empowering the next generation of Aboriginal mover and shakers. Heading off to mentor the incredibly talented young men and women at the En’owkin Centre on the Penticton Indian Reserve also this month – and that is always a great sharing experience for me! We will be working on audio projects for their end of terms pieces – believe me, there is alot of talent coming to fruition out of the En’wokin Centre thanks to the traditional and multi-disciplinary education curriculum that director Dr. Jeannette Armstrong set up and faculty fosters and supports!

Talk soon!
